Visa is issued by a counrty to citizen and foreigner and allow them to entry ，exit or transit.It is always on the Passport of any other ID which can replace the Passport.

Q2:The types of Visa?
According to the entry and exit,there are exit visa, entry visa,exit and enry visa, enrty and exit visa, re-entry visa, transit visa.
According to the reason of visa, there are diplomatic visa,official visa,immigrant visa,non-immigrant visa,courtesy visa,tourist visa,work visa,student visa,business visa and family visa.
There are four types of visa in China:diplomatic visa,official visa,courtesy visa and ordinary visa.
The valid times of entry(transit) is one,two or multi-entries.
The visa includes number,date of issue,effective period,stay period,valid times,stanp and signature of the signing authority.

Q3:Two types of visa notification?
F visa notification, including one or multi-entries. Issue to those who come to Hangzhou to Visit, Investigation, Lecturing, Business, Scientific, Technical Or Cultural Exchange, Short-term Study Or Practice and will stay no longer than 30 days everytime.
Z visa notification.Issue to those who come to Hangzhou to work and their family member.

Q4:Which type of visa does the letter represent?
(1) C: represent the visa held by flight attendants
(2) D: represent the visa held by foreigners who settle in Hangzhou
(3) F: represent the visa held by foreign businissmen or visitors
(4) G: represent the transit visa
(5) L: represent the visa held by foreign travelers or visitors
(6) X: represent situdent visa held by foreign student who will stay in hangzhou more than 6 months.
(7) Z : represent the work visa
(8) W: represent the visa held by officers who work in diplomatic or consular authority in China

Q5:What is the valid times of visa?
The valid times of visa represent that you can entry and exit once,twice or multi-times during the effective period or allowed stay period. For example,if you have visa with three month effective period,15 days stay period and two valid times, that means you could entry and exit twice with 15 days.

Q6:Do I need to leave to apply for the work visa?
If you want to apply for the employment permit and residence permit, you have to go to your own country or Hongkong to get the work visa before that.

Q7:I want to work in Hangzhou for a long time, which visa do I need?
If you want to stay in Hangzhou less than six months, you could apply a F visa; while you could apply the residence permit.

Q8:Which prosedures do I need to go through?
Physical test→employment license→work visa notification→work visa→employment permit→residence permit

Q9:If the Taiwanese 、Hongkongese or Macanese want to work in Hangzhou legally for a long time, what do they need to do?
They should apply for the employment permit.

Q10:Could the family members of foreign worker apply for the residence permit?
Yes. Foreign spouse should submit certificate of marriage；Foreign parents should submit certification for family relationship；Foreign children should submit birth certificate or certification for family relationship；If the certification is produced by foreign organizations, it needs to be attested by Chinese oversea embassies or consulates.
