People's Experience and Comments of Living in this Compound:

Tamar:Pros: -20 minutes drive to H.I.S. (school bus leaves around
7.20 and goes to multiple sides of the compound)
-20 min. drive to Westlake and downtown Hangzhou (you can
even go on your bike)
-15 min. to Mix C Mall, which is a nice place to hang out
for older children (my girls 13 and 16 go there regularly
to meet other classmates, meet in Starbucks, go ice
skating or to the movies and eat something)
-20 min. to Carrefour supermarket, 15 min. to Tesco and
30 min. to Metro ,15 mins by walking to Wu Mart and a
smaller supermarket Lian Hua with daily essentials within
10 min. walk.
-Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital (with international department
during office hours) 15 minutes away
-Gym, Basketball court
-Indoor heated pool (all year round) and outdoor pool
(only July and August)
-Underground Parking,
-Beautiful landscaping and very clean
-Apartment 2-4 bedrooms, small kitchen in our apartment
but big apartments are different.
-Heating is with air conditioner, which works good for us
in both winter and summer.
Cons: -State of the apartments depends very much on the
owner. The compound already exists for 10 years so you
should really see the apartments.
-Sometimes hard to get taxi
-It depends very much where you live, there is a lot of
traffic, it can sometimes be very noisy as the area is
still
under construction and a lot of heavy trucks are passing
at night. -Problems with parking on the compound. ---[2014/8/23]
