Due to the volatile nature of the property
market here, it is difficult to be precise
about current rental costs, although
guidelines are given on our Properties
descriptions. Also, in our experience, it is
impossible to answer the question "How much
do I need to spend on rent to live happily
in Hang Zhou?". Everyone has different
parameters, requirements and expectations,
and one person's "delightful home", is
another person's "shoebox"!
The majority of premises are let furnished
or partly furnished. Units are usually
supplied with fitted closets, kitchen
cupboards, water heaters and the majority
have basic electrical appliances and
air-conditioning, however, these may have to
be negotiated in some older apartments.
