About Roaming:
Any kind of SIM card issued by Zhejiang China Mobile can roam at any city in Zhejiang Province.
Gotone, Shen Zhou Xing Golden card, ordinary M-zone card (M-zone card have two kinds, one is ordinary, the other is for students with some special preference) have the function of roaming in China without any procedure. the rest kinds of card except M-zone campus card should apply to have this function when necessary for you, you can make a call to 10086 which is China Mobile¡¯s service numble, and ask them to open the function for you.
1.If you are M-zone campus card user, it is said that China Mobile will automatically open this service for you during your summer vocation and winter vocation with no extra fee,(if they don¡¯t automatically open the service, please m
ake a call to ask them to open) and I have made a call to its service center for consultation, I was told that M-zone campus card may have the roaming fuction during Golden Week and even the weekend, but he still can not be sure, he ask me to make a call to them to cofirm when you need this service, so if you want to go out of Zhejiang province, please make a call to the service center, and directly ask them whether if is possible to open the function, and if it is not free, how about the fee, and when you return to Zhejiang, how to cancel this function.
2.For the rest of card, you can apply for this function at any time, just make a call to them. the fee is 3 yuan/ month.
Roaming fee varies by different cards and by different monthly plan
I ask the guy on the hotline where I can find the exact charging standard table ? on China Mobile¡¯s webisite ? The answer is disappointing. she told me that you can not find such table on line, and can only know via making call to this service line - 10086. she asked me to tell her which card and with which monthly month, so what should I say, there are lots lots of combinations, should I ask her one by one ?!
The more calls I made to 10086, the more I fell how complicated the charging standard is ! Mine card is M-zone campus card with Wang Ji Jin Ying monthly plan which I transacted several years ago and has stop being transacted, this monthly plan make me even have the function of Shen Zhou Xing Golden Card, so I don¡¯t need to apply for the function of roaming in China. I¡¯ve the function already, which sound great !! and now new Wang Ji Jin Ying monthly plan has no such function.
Take mine as an example: I got this number in Hangzhou, M-zone card with ¡°Wang Ji Jin Ying¡± monthly plan
if I¡¯m in Ningbo, then I should pay 0.8 yuan as roaming fee,(if I make a call in Ningbo, then charged 0.8 yuan/ minute) and if I made a long-distance call, I should pay 0.8yuan/m + 0.07yuan/6 second(long distance fee), if you add 17951 before the number (which will make the call into IP system), the fee is 0.8 yuan/m + 0.3 yuan/ minute.
¡°New Wang Ji Jin Ying¡± is different, the roaming fee is different, if you are roaming in zhejiang province, then charged 0.6 yuan/ minute, if out of Zhejiang province, you¡¯ll be charged 0.8 yuan/ minute.(if you want to roam out of Zhejiang, you should first apply for this function and pay 3 yuan/ month)
Above are my understanding on the roaming system of Zhejiang Mobile, and may have something wrong.
