Isolate Hill, Zhejiang Museum& Bai Causeway-Free This area is connected to the north side of the Lake. A famous restaurant is right beside Zhejiang Museum. Xiling Seal-engraving Society and Zhongshan Park is at the foot of Isolate Hill on which you can have a birdview of the south side of the lake. The east end of Bai Causeway is the well known Broken bridge, you won't miss it.

Su Causeway-Free There're two scenic spots at the each end of this causeway: Viewing Fish at flower harbor at the south end and Lotus in the Breeze at Crooked Courtyard in the north. There's also a wharf at the south end of the causeway if you want to get on a boat. In the middle of the causeway, you will have a full view of Xihu State Guesthouse and the best view of Leifeng Pagoda.

Dragon Well Village-Free People come here to relax, chat, play cards or mahjong with family or friends for a whole day. Have green tea(10rmb/person) and country dishes. If you don't have a tea expert with you, don't buy tea there.

Wushan&Qing Hefang Street-Free Wushan is the mountain right at the end of the main Road in the city. Very convenient to get there, Qing hefang is the street in front of the mountain across Wushan square. It's a business street with all the restaurants, snack and drink cart, Chinese herb stores and folk handcraft stores in archaized buildings. I believe you will see a lot of stuffs you haven't seen before, but keep in mind to bargain!

Chenghuang Temple-40rmb Another good place to view the lake.

Xihu Tiandi-Free Where the cafes and restaurants located by the lake are.

Westlake Museum&Orioles singing in the willows-Free Walk down from Xihu tiandi. Real peaceful and leisure.

Yellow Dragon Cave-15rmb Now it is a folk custom museum, doesn't make much sense to visit. can go to BaoShi Shan through the path by the cave.

Baoshi Shan&Baochu pagoda-Free If you come from Yellow Dragon Cave, please follow the sign to Baochu pagoda, then you can see the scenery of the lake on your way.

Baopu Taoist Temple-15rmb on your way to Baoshu Pagoda.

Mei jia wu-Free like Dragon Well village. Get out of San tian Zhu and through Meiling tunnel you will be there.

Yuhuang Shan(Jade Emperor Mountain)-10rmb Many small scenic spots around, good view of the Lake and qiantang river from the top. It has the Silk Museum at the north entrance, South song dynasty government kiln museum and the Eight Diagrams Field at the south entrance, zoo and tiger spring in the west, and Wansong college in the east.

Three caves on Manjuelong Rd.-Free Very nice to just walk along this road in Sep when the Sweet Osmanthus is blossoming.

Yanggong Causeway-Free Six steep bridges on this causeway, it's the only causeway allow vehicles.

Guo's villa-10rmb It was a private garden.

Botanical Garden-10rmb Nothing special, but a good place to visit in Spring for plum blooming.
